BRAND APPROACH
The visual approach was driven by the primary intention of giving an on-trend refresh to the entire brand and the app’s UI. We successfully made the key visual elements like CTAs, restaurant photos and typography more prominent and pleasing to the eye.
We stripped down the unused functionality and focused on the the best UX. This means the onboarding process for new users was streamlined and the COVID-19 check-in was a delightful experience.

DEVELOPMENT
The first version of the app had users of multiple bars and restaurants so we had access to a range of analytics.
This informed the Founders vision for Phase two; highlight the most important features and information in one tab, rather than forcing the user to navigate through multiple screens to discover engaging content.
Therefore, our focus was on improving the user experience, streamlining the onboarding process, adding features to the UI by adding a touch of animation to make the entire experience come to life.
It did not require us to rebuild the technology or code as we used the versatile language of React Native.
