PAH! empowers the deaf community, providing tools to provide freedom, choice and control for everyone. Users can book Auslan interpreters quickly and easily whilst interpreters can control their own bookings and availability.
For the deaf, it is not uncommon to miss out on attending events due to the lack of available interpreters. PAH!’s founder, Rachel recognised this gap as well as the frustration interpreters face when they aren’t able to schedule events at times that suit them.
PAH! is a platform that caters for these discrepancies, providing an easy and streamlined booking process for both the deaf and interpreters.
PAH! allows users to take back control of their lives, scheduling interpreters and events that suit their needs rather than working around the availability of others. The app provides the option of Video Remote Interpreting as well as Face to Face Interpreting depending on the user’s needs.
PAH! provides access to NDIS and EAS funding and allows users to manage all payments and booking through the one integrated platform. The founder took on a full time role within the business in the first 4 weeks of the launch due to the overwhelming success of the project.
As an expert in the industry, Rachel brought a wealth of knowledge to the project. Working alongside her, we were able to combine her experiences and develop an SSAS mobile app that specifically addressed the needs of the deaf and interpreters. We also built a custom landing page to boost user engagement closer to the launch.
PAH! means success in Auslan and we wanted to display this throughout the brand identity. Our aim was to create a fun, professional and memorable identity that would represent both languages (Auslan and English).
The bubble in the logo represents both communication and a subtle reference to the letter P. The strategy was to give the user a flawless UI experience. A predominately blue colour palette, clean lines and strong typography works harmoniously on all design mediums.
During the Kick-off Phase process we developed a landing page for PAH! This allowed us to generate some interest early and build a user database while the project was in development over 4 months.
We custom built and upgraded the website for the launch of the company and the app. The purpose of the landing page is to inform users about the brand, the mission and includes Auslan videos for FAQ.
The technology behind PAH! enables a highly trusted experience for the deaf community and interpreters. The team worked to develop a well researched and boutique user experience that creates automatically issued invoices with NDIS and EAF; built on React Native, with a Python backend and a suite of integrations.
